God Loves Families

God loves families. It is a simple but profound truth proven right from creation. The Bible recalls family trees in verse upon verse, chapter upon chapter in Genesis 5, 10, 11, 36, 46; 1 Chronicles 1-9; Matthew 1; Luke 3 all the way from Adam to Noah, Noah to Abraham, Abraham to David, and David all the way to the birth of the Jesus Christ.

God loves families. It is a simple and precious truth that the world is actively attacking. This world would have you believe that your parents are to blame for every difficulty in your life. This world would have you believe that you are just a product of your upbringing, that you are stuck in the miry muck of your youth. Likewise, this world would have the elderly blame their children for the pains of an aging body and mind.

God loves families. Respect, obedience, forgiveness, love - the beautiful foundations of healthy relationships have been selfishly twisted into evil and weak ideas. Where once we thought of others first, we now think of only ourselves. Where once we would do whatever we could to help those we love no matter the cost, we now only work for our own edification.

God loves families, so be on the alert. Satan comes with the appearance of light working against what God loves. Mothers, pray for your family. Fathers, teach your children. Adults, love your aging parents with grace, forgiveness and understanding.
